Radio 104.5 Promotes Winter Jam

Winter Jam is a free concert in Philadelphia, where tickets must be won in order to go. These tickets can be won through limited time download or by listening to Radio 104.5, but time is running out to grab a spot at this highly popular concert. It features some of the most popular bands of 2014 and part of 2015, including Gaslight Anthem, Cold War Kids, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and Walk The Moon. A local band is expected to play alongside these bands. There are two stages for the bands to perform on, so it is expected to be a great and exciting time, and possibly the best Winter Jam yet! It is a rain or shine, snow or sleet event, so weather appropriate clothing is suggested. You can also enter to win a chance to meet one of the bands, on Radio 104.5’s website. Cold War Kids is an American indie rock band from Long Beach, Calif. Band members include Nathan Willett, as vocals, piano, guitar, keyboards and percussion, Dann Gallucci as guitar and percussion, Matt Maust on bass and guitar, Joe Plummer on drums and percussion, and Matthew Schwartz as keyboards, piano, guitar, percussion, and vocals. The Gaslight Anthem is an American punk rock band from Brunswick, New Jersey. The band includes Brian Fallon as lead vocals, guitar, Alex Rosamilia as guitar and backing vocals, Alex Levine as bass guitar and backing vocals, and Benny Horowitz on drums and percussion. Andrew McMahon is the indie pop singer, songwriter and pianist of Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. Walk The Moon is an indie/pop rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. Their band name was inspired by the song “Walking on the Moon” by The Police. The band consists of Nicholas Petricca as lead vocals, keys and synthesizer, Kevin Ray as bass and vocals, Sean Waugaman as drums and vocals, and Eli Maiman as guitar and vocals. Each band has its own unique sound and music that every audience member can appreciate and jam out to.
